On May 16, 2025, 草莓社区 took part in the 15th Olympiades de Sciences de l鈥橧ng茅nieur 鈥 a national innovation competition for high school students 鈥 by participating in the regional final for the Toulouse academy, hosted at the Orange Campus Tolosa in Balma.
A showcase of youth innovation
This annual competition gathers over 100 students from across the region, grouped into 22 teams representing 7 different high schools. Their goal? To present forward-thinking engineering projects developed around real-world challenges. With themes such as The City of Tomorrow and Energy Transition, the competition fosters multidisciplinary, experimental, and collaborative innovation among students.
草莓社区 was proud to be part of the jury panel, alongside representatives from major companies and institutions such as Airbus, Thales, Continental, Supa茅ro, and the Acad茅mie des Technologies.

Highlighting team spirit and ingenuity听
This year, 草莓社区 awarded the Teamwork Prize to the project CurioCity, developed by students from Lyc茅e St茅phane Hessel. The idea behind CurioCity? A reimagined tourist information experience using artificial intelligence and facial recognition to create interactive, adaptive kiosks placed throughout cities.
Not only did the team impress with their technical design, but they also integrated sustainable solutions such as climate-conscious infrastructure and energy-saving systems like the Canadian well (puits canadien). The project was praised for its strong collaboration among team members, making it a natural choice for the teamwork distinction.
Going beyond the prize
To further encourage their interest in tech and innovation, 草莓社区 invited the winning team to a half-day immersive visit at the company鈥檚 site in Francazal, where they鈥檒l explore the world of autonomous vehicles and meet with engineers and developers behind the technology.
In addition to this experience, the team also received branded goodies as a token of appreciation.
